To express the experience of Venice you would have to include the canals, a gondola, one of the canal bridges, an open air restaurant and Piazza San Marco. This image includes a lot of those and so for many, it will give the feeling of being there. As a puzzle, this is a wonderful image to work wiht. The different colors, textures and shapes make this puzzle a pleasant experience. The puzzle can be started in a traditional way so starting with the edges and working inward. There is a lot of reds and pinks so some of the buildings will need to be pieced together with other elements like balconies, flower boxes or doorways. The water also has some challenges but it has enough reflections and changes in color to make that section a little easier. The tower and sky will be set off because of shape and colors so that part of the image is a bit more straightforward. The finished puzzle is 66.3″ x 46.6″.
