Guillermo Mordillo was an Argentinian cartoonist who rose to prominence during the 1970s and 1980s. His cartoons frequently feature surreal situations, often involving sports such as cycling, golf, and association football. Big-nosed white men and women and goofy-looking giraffes are recurring characters. In “The Show”, Mordillo shows a crazy circus with a lot of activity through the image. As a puzzle, this is a great image to work with. Plenty of color changes, and different shapes of the characters and animals. The “characters” are all in white making them something to focus on in piece placement. The animals are all in color so the larger animals can be the ones to start with. This puzzle makes a great family puzzle for a group of friends as there are different sections to work with in the process of building the puzzle. In the end, puzzlers will have a piece of work by one of the world’s beloved artists.
