Description

From Jane’s Carousel on the Brooklyn side of the Brooklyn Bridge, across the East River to South Street Seaport and the Financial District, the sun sets on lower Manhattan and the ever-changing skyline. The view of the city from this point is among the best in the area with iconic buildings like Tower 1 World Trade Center, 2 World Trade Center, 40 Wall Street (also known as the Trump Building), 2 World Financial Center, Woolworth Building, One Chase Manhattan Plaza and so many others. The unique shapes of the buildings helps focus this puzzle so that piece placement has some structure to it. The Brooklyn Bridge with the horizontal lines of the bridge deck will help distinguish pieces from the vertical pieces of the skyscrapers. The sky and river will still be challenging but with the color changes and contrasts, won’t be as difficult as other scenery images. With 1 World Trade Center going almost to the edge of the image, some help with the sky will come from that part.
