Description
In the tradition of the Dutch Masters of the 17th century, Jan van Dael was known for his still-life paintings particularly of flowers and fruit in arrangements. Still lifes were a great opportunity to display skill in painting textures and surfaces in great detail and with realistic light effects. This particular painting, most likely painted in Paris in 1810, was originally called “Vase of flowers, grapes and peaches”, currently hangs in the Musée du Louvre in Paris. As a puzzle, this offers some really wonderful features including some beautiful color contrasts, different shapes and a background and foreground with textures. The flowers and fruit will be the focus of the construction of the puzzle and the background pieces will likely be placed from those parts. Clementoni puzzles are crafted in Italy using premium quality materials to enhance the carefully selected imagery featured on each puzzle. All Clementoni puzzles are precisely cut to ensure a perfect interlocking fit
